1. Subscription Plans, Payment and Billing

1.1 Consultation Quota: If a clinic subscribes to a package offering three or five consultations per month, the full subscription fee will be invoiced regardless of whether the clinic utilises all consultations within that month. Unused consultations do not roll over to the following month.

1.2 Subscription Usage: If a clinic subscribes to a consultation package mid-month or later, it is the clinic's responsibility to utilise the allocated number of consultations within the remaining days of that month.

1.3 Billing Date: Subscribers will be billed every month on the day of their initial subscription (e.g., if a subscription starts on the 5th, billing will occur on the 5th of each month thereafter). Single consults will be billed at the end of the month.

1.4 Cancellation Policy: Subscription plans can be cancelled at any time before the next billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for unused consultations during the current billing cycle.

2. Liability and Responsibility

2.1 Consultation Advice: The advice provided by Online Oncologist is based on current veterinary literature and best practices. However, as each patient responds uniquely to treatment, we cannot accept responsibility for any unforeseen outcomes. The information offered serves as a guide to assist the primary care veterinarian in their decision-making.

2.2 Outcomes: While we strive to offer accurate and tailored guidance, we cannot guarantee specific treatment outcomes. Ultimately, responsibility for patient care rests with the attending veterinarian and the pet owner, who should assess and apply the advice in the context of the patient’s unique needs.

3. Use of Services

3.1 Purpose: The consultations provided are designed to support veterinary professionals with supplementary advice and do not replace the need for a full physical examination or diagnostic workup by the attending veterinarian. All final decisions regarding diagnosis and treatment remain with the attending veterinarian.

3.2 Confidentiality: Online Oncologist upholds the highest standards of confidentiality, ensuring that all patient and client information is handled in compliance with applicable privacy laws and professional standards.

4. Veterinarian-Client Relationship

4.1 Maintaining the Relationship: The advice provided by Online Oncologist complements the existing veterinarian-client relationship. It is the responsibility of the primary care veterinarian to ensure that the advice fits within the broader context of the patient’s medical history and the client’s preferences.

4.2 Informed Consent: The primary care veterinarian is responsible for communicating recommendations to the pet owner and obtaining informed consent before implementing any treatments based on Online Oncologist’s guidance.

4.3 Primary Responsibility: Final treatment decisions rest with the primary care veterinarian, who ensures that all options align with the patient’s best interests and the client’s expectations.

5. Availability and Response Times for Hong Kong Subscribers

8.1 Accessibility: Online Oncologist will be accessible to Hong Kong subscribers via OncoConnect, a dedicated communication platform that provides direct access to advice and support. OncoConnect is available from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (AEST, Sydney Time). During these hours, clinicians can reach out for relatively quick access to veterinary oncology expertise. Please note that OncoConnect is currently not available for Australian subscribers and single consult clients.

8.2 Response Delays: Due to ongoing clinical commitments, there may be a delay of up to a couple of hours in responding to inquiries. While every effort will be made to respond promptly, Online Oncologist's responses may be limited by the consultant's time constraints during clinical work.

8.3 Limited Responses: In situations where the consultant is occupied with clinical duties, responses may be brief or delayed. Subscribers are encouraged to provide as much information as possible in their initial inquiry to facilitate efficient communication.

6. Availability and Response Times for All Other Clients
